10MinuteMail is over 14 years old! When I created 10MinuteMail back in 2006, it was for two reasons: first to help me deal with all the spam email I was getting and second so I could teach myself the JBoss Seam framework. I had no idea at the time that so many other people wanted an anonymous temporary email service to avoid spam too! There are so many websites where you have to provide an email address to get access to the site, or get the “Free” eBook, etc… If they all just used your email for internal sales, that wouldn’t be so bad, but it seems like most of them sell their email lists and you can end up getting 100s of spam email from one innocent form.
Over the years 10MinuteMail has evolved and undergone a few re-writes, from Seam to Seam 2, and then to DeltaSpike. The latest re-write is now in Beta! I’d love to have people test it! It has a cleaner more modern design and should provide faster email delivery to your inbox!! It also will use multiple domains for better acceptance on websites.
